Our vision is to strive to promote the love of reading and life-long learning by sharing books and teaching skills in information literacy. We also strive to help students to access and use information in efficient and productive ways.


Playaway Policy 

Playaway Audiobook Policy

1. Playaways are digital audiobooks. Each title is catologed and can be found in the online catalog.

2. Each title can be checked out for 5 days.

Each playaway cases include earbuds and a playaway audiobook. When returning the playaway to the library, be sure that both the playaway audiobook and earbuds are in the case.

4. There is an automatic fine of $1.50 to replace missing earbuds. Regular reserve fines apply to the Playaway device:

Overdue: $.50

Lost; Cost of item. Playaways cost $25.00 and up.

5. Please report any problems with the Playaway device to the librarian IMMEDIATELY!

Students in grades 3rd-5th will not be allowed to check out Playaways unless the policy is signed and returned to the Media Center.

Accelerated Reader Monthly Challenge 

Students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd who accumulate a total of 15 points and students in grades 3rd through 5th who accumulate a total of 20 points during the this Nine Weeks will participate in a Sock Hop. This challenge will end on March 21st.


Circulation Policies 

1st graders- One book for one week

2nd graders -Two books for one week

3rd, 4th and 5th graders- Three books for one week

Overdue Books and Fines

 If books are not returned when they are due, students may not check out new books. Overdue books must be returned before a student may check out another book.  If books are lost/stolen the students will receive a letter listing the  name and price  of the book.
